Food Pantry

On the third Thursday of every month from 3:00-4:00 pm, Covenant Pantry distributes food to supplement the pantries of our local community. The pantry’s purpose is to provide food for those who need it.

Once a month, the pantry distributes food from Mountaineer Food Bank and donations from Martin’s and Sheetz to families in West Virginia who have applied for assistance. To apply for assistance, simply come to a Thursday distribution with your identification. The form is short. Proof of income is NOT required.

Additionally, once a month, on a day designated as Bread Day, donations from Martin’s, Sheetz (and others) are distributed as extra for anyone who comes. This usually occurs on a Saturday, nine days after the third Thursday.

Community Garden

Purpose: To build community through gardening by providing space and assistance to build a personal garden and by working together to grow food for the Covenant Pantry.

Reserve a plot to grow food for your family while also helping to maintain a community plot that keeps our pantry stocked with fresh produce.

The garden is located at Two Birds Farm (Rt. 480).

Saturday, May 3, 2025 is the garden’s opening day.
