Car Maintenance Assistance
Car Care proudly provides oil changes and basic vehicle safety checks.
This service is free for single parents, seniors, widows, school teachers, disabled veterans, and spouses of deployed military personnel.
Car Care occurs on the first Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
After you register, you will get a confirmation email. A team member will contact you a day or two before to let you know what time to arrive. Please respond to messages about your appointment.

Food Pantry
Covenant Pantry distributes food to supplement the pantries of our local community. The pantry’s purpose is to give food to those who need it.
Once a month, the pantry distributes to families in West Virginia who have applied for assistance. To apply for assistance, come to a Thursday or Saturday distribution with your identification. The form is short. Proof of income is NOT required.
Special family holiday meals are given in March, November, and December to those who come the month before.
2026 Dates: January 22 or 31. February 19 or 28. March 19 or 28. April 16 or 25. May 21 or 30. June 18 or 27. July 23 or August 1. August 20 or 29. September 17 or 26. October 15 or 24. November 19 or 21. December 17 or 19.

Community Garden
Purpose:
1) To build community through gardening.
2) Give space and assistance to build a personal garden. Reserve a plot to grow food for your family.
3) Work together to grow food for the Covenant Pantry. Help keep a community plot to stock our community pantry with fresh produce.
The garden is located at Two Birds Farm (Rt. 480). Saturday, May 3, 2025, was the garden’s first opening day.
The 2026 Seed Swap is on February 29, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. It will be held at Covenant Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike, Shepherdstown, WV.

Kids Program at Apple Tree Garden Apartments
Jubilee Kids’ mission: to show children and their families that they are loved and valued.
Jubilee Kids volunteers uplift, encourage, and guide kids through fun community-based activities. Parents and family members are encouraged to join the fun.
Six to eight sessions are held in the spring (April -June) and fall (September-December). Located in the Apple Tree Garden Apartments community room on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm.
Purpose and Impact: Enrich learning experiences with engaging lessons and hands-on activities. Deepen engagement by fostering excitement and participation. Expand opportunities through a field trip that reinforces faith and community.

Community Care
Covenant Cares strives to give love, support, and meals at Fox Glen and Apple Tree Garden Apartments. The team distributes meals in the local neighborhoods each week. Our volunteers support people by getting to know the families in these communities and their needs. Seasonally, the team provides family holiday meals, holiday gifts for kids, supplies for students, and other community activities.
Lift Global Inc gives support and care to the community by providing new shoes to kids at the start of the school year and supporting local schools like North Jefferson Elementary’s programs, activities, and clothing closet
